10 Upcoming Video Games To Look Out For In March 2017

5. Blaster Master Zero

What is it: Blaster Master is one of the all-time great NES classics - a blend of side-scrolling tank platforming and top down run and gun segments, in unforgiving maze-like worlds. Sunsoft, coming back from the dead, has given developers Inti Creates the full go-ahead on rebooting the game for a modern era.

Blaster Master Zero takes the classic 8-bit style of the original and modernizes it in the style of Shovel Knight, adding more visual fidelity while keeping the retro style. It also adds new areas, extra sub-weapons, improved exploration mechanics, a supportive co-op multiplayer mode, and more.

Protagonist Jason Frudnick is a young robotics genius, who sets off on an underground adventure to chase a peculiar creature, and comes across the NORA MA-01 battle tank, which he christens Sophia III. Along the way, he meets the mysterious amnesiac engineer, Eve, who supports him on his adventure via upgrades and co-piloting Sophia III.

When's it coming out: 9th March for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.
