Legendaries are a staple of the Pokémon series and one of the earliest examples of boss fights that up the stakes by giving the player only one shot at finishing them.

Each Legendary Pokémon has a unique spawn location, spawn rate, and conditions for fighting them, but the one thing they share in common is that once the player enters a fight with them, they will never appear again afterwards.

For this reason, you have to make sure that when you come across a legendary, you will give it your absolute best in order to either defeat it or, preferably, catch it.
