Even though games are designed so the player will fall in love with the characters, you're not expected to like everyone. No matter how appealing someone is meant to be, they mighn't be your cup of tea.

But when it came to the romance side-quests in Cyberpunk 2077, the developers ensured there was someone for everybody. Although there are many characters to serve as your better-half, you can't go wrong by choosing braindance techie, Judy Alvarez, or ex-nomad, Panam Palmer.

Despite the fact the other love interests offer some witty banter, you'll be missing out by not picking Judy and Panam. You get so invested by reading their cute texts or by gazing into their eyes, you can forget you're talking to an NPC.

Because Panam's backstory is tied in to the central narrative, you learn more about the Cyberpunk world by shacking up with her. You'll also have to perform more intense missions compared to other partners (especially when you have to free her former nomad leader, Saul). So, Panam's the one for you if you like heavy action.

But by pairing up with Judy, you'll have a relationship that feels more intimate. Depending on the decisions you make, it'll also be a lot more heartbreaking.

The developers may have used Keanu Reeves' character as the Cyberpunk 2077's ultimate selling point but it was Judy and Panam that stole the show.
