10 Video Game Deaths You Couldn't Avoid

If there's one thing the Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep makes clear, it's that Tiny Tina... is going through some stuff.

When you play through the regular game, you don't recognise how much Roland's death affects her - then you play through this extra content, and it becomes very apparent that she has delved even deeper into a dark fantasy world to escape the reality of his death.

And, since you've decided to play DnD with her, this anger is to some degree directed at you throughout the course of the campaign. This is best shown in the first five minutes, when Tiny Tina creates a dragon you can't hurt, and uses it to immediately kill you.

Since there's nothing around to kill to get a second wind revive, you're pretty much doomed to die - that is, until Lilith reminds her that starting a game with a boss fight you cannot beat is pretty awful, and Nina brings you back out of guilt.

And lucky she does, as this leads to one of the most interesting, funny - and occasionally very sad - storylines in the entire extended game.
