Flavourworks is a small studio based in London that managed to pull off a near-impossible feat - making a decent FMV video game.

For years, any live film within a video game often landed with a dull thud. FMV came across either amazingly cheesy, such as Tim Curry's performance in Command And Conquer: Red Alert 3, or just poorly managed such as in Quantum Leap. ERICA managed to avoid these shortfallings by incorporating decent performances with PlayStation Link so players were never torn away from the action. The result was a decent game. ERICA had tension, played well and was successful.

For a small community, ERICA resonated with them more than most. Soon, people were producing fan art and concepts based around the real people in the game. Flavourworks, for all their newfound success and funding off the back of ERICA, never took this love for granted.

Jack Attridge, the creative director of Flavourworks, can be seen constantly sharing and commenting on fan appreciation and creation. He also spends a lot of time sharing his experiences and expertise to not only give more information about the story he helped create but to inspire the fans to make their own.
