10 Video Game Enemies EVERYONE Hates

Have you ever sat there and thought to yourself, "Man I sure do love me some eggplants"? No? yeah me neither but apparently this was all Toru Osawa, one of Kid Icarus' graphic designers cared about at this point in time because apparently his love for aubergines gave way to one of the most annoying enemies in all of video games, The Eggplant Wizard.

While other enemies on this list will kill or maim you, the Eggplant wizard has but one goal in mind, and that's to turn you into an eggplant. No seriously. While that might not sound like much at first, it's genuinely one of the most annoying facets of the original game. In this form you can't attack at all, because...you're an eggplant, whereas every enemy you've beaten will immediately respawn. Oh good.

The only way to cure yourself is to find a hospital, and most of the time such bastions of safety are more than a quick jog away. So now you have to slog back through a much harder level with new enemies, as an eggplant, only to cure yourself and hope it doesn't happen again.

I hate everything about this.
