10 Video Game Goons Stronger Than The Final Boss!
3. Hellknights - Deception 3: Dark Delusion
Deception is an accurate title for the series that brought the Hellknight into existence.
The primary reason for this is that they simply don't take damage. Which, in a game where you need to kill enemies, if kind of an issue. In fact, the Hellknights only take a single point of damage against any regular traps, so you explicitly need to try and catch them with stuff that ignores armour ratings if you want to actually get rid of them.
To make things a tasty touch worse, they're also able to move around rooms with an almost enviable amount of easy, due to them both having attacks that can help them cover half an area, and an ability to teleport. Yeah, you read that right. The damage-heavy, almost invulnerably armoured monsters also come with the in-built ability to teleport.
The various bosses you'll face in this game will genuinely pale in comparison to these little devils, who will always make your heart start beating faster when you see them. Which is doubly true for the final Hellknight you'll face - since somehow that one manages to be even stronger.
