10 Video Game NPCs Whose Lives You RUINED

You can do terrible things to NPCs in just about any open-sandbox game. And most of them encourage it, with the likes of Saints Row, Infamous and Red Dead Redemption indulging you with endless potential for violence against random, unsuspecting NPCs.

And while you can't die someone to train tracks and get them run over in GTA V, it's likely seen just about the most pedestrian torment of any game ever.

Whether it's punching someone out for their car, selling someone to cannibals, or just running them over because accidentally drove onto the sidewalk, you will never escape a game without at least one needless murder spree.

Unlike many similar games, you're also able to kill characters you need for further missions, and still have them come back to life for said missions regardless. The one redeeming quality of this is that it's not just random pedestrians you can take out, as plenty of integral characters can also get this treatment several times over in a single game.

Sometimes, it feels like Franklin is the only character in it who can't die in some way - and even he will end up running into traffic a couple times while you control him.
