10 Video Game Objectives That Totally Trolled Players

3. Screw Everyone - Dead Rising 3

Dead Rising 3
Capcom

You generally need to look out for yourself above all others in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, though Dead Rising 3 takes the opportunity to teach selfish players a lesson about the merits of teamwork - or, at least, not being a self-obsessed a**hole.

At the start of the game's seventh and final chapter, players are told to meet their friends at the karaoke bar, but you're actually free to instead head directly to the escape plane and attempt a speedy exit.

When you approach the plane, an objective prompt even appears which says, "Screw everyone. Time to leave?"

If you accept the prompt and continue your escape, player character Nick will be caught by his pals trying to flee Los Perdidos without them, at which point they'll knock him on his ass and fly out of dodge without him, while expressing disappointment at his selfishness.

To hammer home the fact you screwed up, an ending title card will then note that Los Perdidos was destroyed by a bomb with no evidence of survivors, and the United States is now a post-apocalyptic husk without hope of redemption.
