2. Tomorrow Is Lou - Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
Pretty much the moment that Elle Fanning's Tomorrow showed up in the marketing for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, many fans predicted that she would in fact turn out to be the adult version of Sam's adopted daughter Lou... somehow.
And while playing the game, it seems so hilariously obvious that Tomorrow is an older Lou that one might actually suspect it's a big, silly troll on the part of Hideo Kojima, who will actually reveal that this isn't the case.
But no, what you see is what you get - in the last few hours of the game Higgs finally confirms what everybody already knew, that Tomorrow is indeed a grown-up Lou, and that's that.
While there are certainly other more surprising revelations in store - namely that Lou is actually Sam's biological daughter - considering that the game holds onto the Tomorrow = Lou revelation for several-dozen hours before finally dropping the bomb, it's tough not to laugh at the thunderous obviousness of it.
