10 Video Game Remakes We NEED On Next-Generation Consoles
5. Sly Cooper
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus may have already had a HD remaster for the Playstation 3, but with the next generation just around the corner, a full remake deserves to be considered.
Sucker Punch studios, creators behind the franchise, have gone on to create some incredible work since. Infamous and Ghost of Tsushima, for example, so we know they can make terrific games.
Both of those franchises are more grounded and more adult, so to see the developers go back to their roots with something more playful could be something truly interesting. Sly Cooper was a generally well received game, with its only real criticism it being too short.
Sucker Punch have now proven they can make massive games filled with interesting things to do, so apply that to Sly's world - with its gorgeous art style and interesting stealth mechanics - and you would have a truly unique, modern stealth game.
The last entry in the franchise was only in 2013 and left on a cliff hanger, but as a whole generation has now come and gone, and Sucker Punch has moved onto different IPs, its unlikely we will see a sequel anytime soon.
Getting a remaster out there would test the waters to see if fans want another game (hint, we do) and introduce a whole new generation to the bank-robbing raccoon.
