9. Hollows & Hobbes - Fable 3
The Fable series is known for its storytelling and collection of charismatic characters, all of whom are presented with unique humour and quirks. 2010's Fable III is certainly no exception to this, with players going through a variety of fantastical side quests on their way to ruling over Albion.
The one in which players will remember most fondly is Hollows & Hobbes.
After agreeing to help three wizards with their game of Hollows & Hobbes, players will get to immerse themselves in Albion's favourite tabletop. A spoof on the classic Dungeons and Dragons games of old, the Royal Hero is put in the hands of the Dungeon Master and must save the Princess Phrexia from the clutches of the evil Baron.
The wizards will continue to pepper the hero with all manner of obstacles and enemies to make the adventure more spicy, ranging from the Baron's Hobbes guards to a horde of demon chickens.
The fantastical presentation, the outlandish settings, and the running commentary from the wizards from above all help make this one of the standout moments from the game and does everything a solid side quest should do.
