10 Video Game Side Quests So Good You Ignored The Story

5. Judgement - Dragon Age: Inquisition

Technically this side quest is a part of the main quest, but since the game doesn't force you to immediately judge every person you capture in the main story, and there are plenty of folks you can capture outside of it, we count it for this list.

Judgement is exactly what it says on the tin. As inquisitor, you have the right to judge and decide the fate of anyone who wrongs the inquisition directly, as well as anyone whose fate their home nation leaves to you. What you do to them will decide your relationship with your companions, as they all have VERY different ideas on what should be done with the various people you bring in. And don't think you can cheat the system by playing to their personalities: some of these folks will rub your companions much harsher than others.

It's just a ton of fun to play judge, jury and - if you want - executioner, for the many scumbags the inquisition drags in, making this by far everyone's favorite side quest in Inquisition.
