10 Video Game Trailers That Spoiled WAY Too Much
5. Force-Pulling A Star Destroyer - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
The single most iconic moment from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the unforgettable sequence where protagonist Starkiller uses his Force powers to pull a Star Destroyer out of the sky, bringing it crashing to the ground.
It's an astonishing scene and frankly on par with something you'd expect to see in any of the movies, enough that LucasArts couldn't resist the urge to give it away for free in the game's teaser trailer.
Though the teaser only shows an early FMV mock-up of the sequence, it's still conceptually similar enough to the end result that it still counts as a spoiler, ensuring fans played through the game basically waiting for this jaw-dropping moment to happen.
Considering it's a marquee moment that showcases just how powerful Starkiller has become, it's a shame we all knew it was coming going in.
On the other hand, it was apparently one of the very first concept images for the game that helped it get greenlit, so we can't blame LucasArts too much for wanting to show it off at every errant opportunity.
