Never trust a Sith Lord. As the hidden apprentice of the most notoriously brutal Sith Lord of all time, Darth Vader, and being roped into a secret mission to assassinate the Emperor, you would think that Galen Marek would get wise to the fact that he’s not dealing with the most trustworthy of people, but then again, Galen was never a good Sith.

So when Vader quite literally stabs him in the back he is the only one who doesn’t see it coming. And when, in a double whammy, Galen learns that Vader never intended him as anything other than a tool to create, and then destroy, the Rebel Alliance, he is the only one who is upset.

The Force Unleashed bends over backwards to make Galen likeable: he is a savage juggernaut of destruction against his enemies, but he’s also witty, a mite goofy, and is teamed-up with the equally likeable Juno Eclipse.

As a Rebel he makes far more sense, which is why Galen's final sacrifice to save the Rebellion feels right, transforming him from a gullible villain to a genuine hero.
