10 Video Games BROKEN By Their AI
2. Pokémon Red And Blue
The original Pokémon games are still absolute classics to this day, and still well worth replaying with as many weird teams of little critters as you can think of.
But, because so many people have been journeying back through Kanto, the loopholes in its AI have become increasingly obvious. For example, the first gen games automatically have enemy Pokémon use moves that are of a type your creatures are weak to - and often only moves of that type.
Sounds like a good idea, right? Well, since a lot of moves in the game don't do damage, it can actually be totally counterproductive, as they repeatedly use this totally ineffective move to try and take you down.
This is most hilariously shown by a series of Youtubers who have had level 2 Weedles - some of the weakest Pokémon in the game - take down Gym Leader Lance's Dragonite, which is one of the strongest. God bless the internet.
