10 Video Games Coming In 2020 (And Beyond)

4. Starfield

System Shock 3
Bethesda

The biggest and most dangerous thing Bethesda have done in 25 years, Starfield is set to be the next original IP from the studio - something they haven't attempted, to reiterate, in a QUARTER OF A CENTURY - that will lean heavily into science fiction.

Shedding the fantasy and post apocalyptic worlds of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, Starfield will be completely it's own property set in the black void of space. And that's about all we know on the gameplay, other than we're looking at a more realistic sci-fi tone from the appearance of the space station in the trailer we've been offered.

Starfield will be releasing with the next generation of games consoles, meaning that there's a very real possibility we could be seeing it in the tail end of next year if Microsoft and Sony get their schedule together. There's been whisper that the next gen isn't far away, so what better way to wrap up 2020 with than Bethesda's take on a galaxy far, far away?
