10 Video Games Everyone Played (But NO ONE Talks About)

Over the decades The Simpsons has existed, the show that will never die has spawned an array of licenced video games over the years. While a lot of these games like The Simpsons Wrestling, and Crazy Taxi rip-off The Simpsons: Road Rage were pretty terrible, there were a few gems in there too.

The best remembered and most beloved of them all, however, was unequivocally The Simpsons: Hit & Run, which hit consoles in 2003.

Taking place in a series of semi-open world levels, Hit & Run set players loose on a Springfield that was populated by fan-favourite characters alongside an assortment of goodies to collect. It was The Simpsons as a scaled down and more family friendly spin on Grand Theft Auto, and it was just as insanely fun as it sounds.

Each level would follow a similar formula which saw the player racing to collect objects, racing against the clock or other characters, or set to destroy other vehicles on the road. But thanks to incredibly funny writing and a plot which grew increasingly bizarre at every turn, nothing about this game became dull.

While fans have voiced a burning desire for a remake, one doesn't seem likely any time soon.
