2. Dungeon Fighter
This list is littered with gaming deaths in Asia and this unfortunately named chap is no different. Dungeon Fighter is an online beat 'em up for the PC with an impressively dedicated following in the east, with regular televised tournaments that easily gather up X-Factor like TV viewing figures. 31 year old Wang Gang (a name that can easily conjure up some funny connotations but let's keep it serious, we've come this far) is reported to have collapsed in a gaming parlour in China, I assume a fancy name for internet cafe. Wang had dropped out of college and cut himself off from his family and friends to spend all his time building up over 20 high scoring characters in Dungeon Fighter. Wang spent several months living in the internet cafe, playing around the clock with only a few hours break to nap on the sofa. He is said to have become horrifically skinny and dirty during his tenure as an un-contracted tenant, before collapsing to his death in yet another avoidable case of gaming exhaustion and lack of hygienic self respect.
