10 Video Games People Died Playing

5. World Of Warcraft

world-of-warcraft-600x300 Moving swiftly back to China where a 13 year old teenager named Xiao Yi committed suicide in the ludicrous hope of meeting his cyber friends after he died. Xiao left four notes, written from the perspective of his online character that he wanted to meet three of his friends in paradise. His parents said that Xiao was a good child and student before he became addicted to World of Warcraft which they blame for his death. He scored high in school tests but began failing them soon after his passion for the game swelled. Xiao would regularly stay out multiple nights in a row at an internet cafe, but his parents were unsure of what it was and didn't know how to save him from his evidently downward spiral. The last time his parents found him at an internet cafe, he had gone for two days without food, and tearfully admitted he had been poisoned by the game and could no longer control himself. Xiao climbed to the top of his resident building before leaping off the 24 stories plunging to his death in pursuit of the afterlife. Xiao clearly made a plea for help but sadly the addiction proved too much for him in the end.
