4. Diablo III
Diablo III was the long awaited sequel that was released to eager fans in May 2012. An 18 year old Taiwanese male known locally as Chuang excitedly booked himself into a private room at an internet cafe and proceeded to partake in a marathon 40 hour session, stupidly with no food or drink on hand. Chuang booked himself in on a Friday afternoon and was left to play until Sunday morning, where a staff member found him resting on the table. Chuang was woke up and began to leave the cafe until he collapsed after a few steps, dying shortly after his arrival to hospital of a suspected blood clot. Another case of someone dying in an internet cafe, that has hopefully helped them rethink their policies.
