10 Video Games That Added Obvious Features INSANELY Late
1. PS4 Pro Support - No Man's Sky
Despite it's numerous faults at launch, one thing that cannot be disputed is No Man's Sky's glorious visuals. The vibrant colour palette made each location feel truly unique, from harsh, oranges to tranquil and innocent azures.
Such colours demand the latest hardware to showcase the tireless effort of Hello Games' art design team. At the time of its release, No Man's Sky was a console exclusive for PlayStation; appearing on PC and Sony's home entertainment system only.
Sony officially announced the PS4 Pro a month after No Man's Sky hit shelves in August of 2016. The new system boasted full 4K support and an upgraded GPU, meaning the luscious colours of Hello Games' exploration title would look even better with more power under the hood.
Well, it would have done if it didn't take Hello Games almost 4 months to conjure support for the system. Implemented as part of update 1.2 titled 'Pathfinder', players who stuck with the game through its growing pains were finally able to capitalise on the power of the PS4 Pro to enhance its visuals.
A long wait for some, but a wonderful addition for all.
