The award winning ending of the Mass Effect trilogy also had one of the most... well, disappointing endings ever seen in a game. Dedicated players felt so let down that they generally split into two categories depressed and enraged. Among the outcry and backlash, a movement started on Facebook to demand a better ending for the franchise, including petitions and donations. When the developers responded with a patch to expand on the games ending, the general answer was a despondent too little, too late. Why is Mass Effect 3s ending on this list, you may ask? The Retake Movement as they called themselves raised $80,000 in donations in a few days. Thats a lot of angry, desperate and frustrated people.
