10 Video Games That Just Got Delayed
1. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
Honestly it'd be news if Inazuma Eleven: Victory went a year without being delayed.
The sports RPG from developer Level-5 was first announced as Inazuma Eleven Ares in 2016 and intended to release on PS4 in 2018, which really says it all.
Since then the game has been delayed, renamed to Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes, delayed some more, renamed to Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, confirmed for new-gen platforms like PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, and delayed even more.
Back in April, Level-5 announced a release date of August 21, and honestly, there was actually cautious optimism among fans that maybe, just maybe this one might finally stick.
But because past behaviour is the greatest predictor of future behaviour, of course it ended up getting pushed again, as in July it was delayed to November 13.
It'd be weirder if the release date stuck this time, frankly, so just about nobody believes Inazuma Eleven: Victory is actually going to release in November until they're playing it for themselves.
