10 Video Games That Just Got Delayed

2. Trivia Murder Party 3

Trivia Murder Party is one of the most popular mini-games in the Jackbox franchise, and so with its third outing Jackbox Games has spun the horror-themed trivia game off into its own standalone release.

Jackbox originally intended to release the game in early access by fall 2025, and considering the franchise's reliably timely output, there was little reason to believe it would miss this date.

But in July, the developer revealed that they've decided to delay Trivia Murder Party 3 into an unspecified date in 2026.

The reason for this primarily related to Trivia Murder Party 3 being developed on a new engine, as well as being the first Jackbox game to feature full online matchmaking.

They also cited a desire not to force employees into crunch to meet 2025, adding, "Great games are made by inspired developers, not exhausted ones." No lies detected there.

At least fans will have Jackbox Party Pack 11 to tide them over, which is still set to release before year's end.
