9. The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

It's always a change when the main antagonist of a Legend of Zelda game isn't the iconic series baddie, Ganon. Even if their whole schtick most of the time is just to try and bring him back to life.

Yuga fits the bill on both counts here, and, as evildoers go, he's absolutely not shy about stepping into the spotlight. Link runs into him numerous times during the game, and his ability to trap people inside paintings is the basis for A Link Between Worlds' unique gameplay mechanic of wall-merging.

Most notably, you first meet him early on in the game's first dungeon, the Eastern Palace. It's a fairly simple boss fight, although his chattiness clearly lets on that he's more important than he appears.

It's obvious, then, that he's the big cheese around here, and, of course, you can bet that he'll be waiting for you at the game's final level.

By this point, Yuga has merged with a partially revived Ganon, which, naturally, gives you a harder time than any of your past encounters with this creep. Better hope you've been sharpening those archery skills before this point.
