10 Video Games Whose BEST Versions Are On Switch
4. Devil May Cry 3
Capcom fans were ticked off when they realised the Switch ports of the first three Devil May Cry games had to be bought separately (unlike the package purchase available on other systems). But in Nintendo's defence, their port of DMC3 is unquestionably the best version.
In the beginning of each level, you can pick which playstyle you want the protagonist, Dante, to use; Trickster focuses on evasion, Swordmaster focuses on combos, Royal Guard focuses on counters, and Gunslinger focuses (unsurprisingly) on guns. The problem with this feature is that one playstyle may be advantageous in one section but be a detriment in the following section. If only you could change playstyles on the fly.
On the Switch, you can. Not only does this make gameplay less frustrating, it opens up a whole new series of attacks and combos you can execute.
As an added bonus, there is a co-op mode where Dante and Vergil can face off against a plethora of monsters in the Bloody Palace. Not only is this mode fun, the controls are really easy if played on the JoyCon sideways, meaning you and a friend can enjoy this feature, even if you are limited to one controller.
