10 Video Games You Didn't Know JUST Got Delisted

3. Loopmancer

Loopmancer wasn't a great game by any means, but it was an enjoyable action platformer roguelite with a gorgeous cyberpunk aesthetic, and being an original game, most surely assumed it would be easily available forever.

Yet back in June, less than three years after it launched to decent reviews - including an enthusiastic 8/10 from IGN - developer eBrain Studio announced that Loopmancer was being imminently delisted from Steam.

This ultimately occurred due to the expiration of the studio's licensing agreement with publisher Xu, and considering that Xu hasn't published another single game in the three years since Loopmancer came out, it seems highly probable that the outfit has itself shut down, with this delisting being a consequence of that.

Though Loopmancer can still be purchased on Epic Games Store at the time of press, with the circumstances of its Steam delisting it's likely just a matter of time before it disappears from there too.

Considering that eBrain Studio hasn't developed another game since Loopmancer, it's safe to say that the game probably failed to generate enough revenue for them to continue their business.
