10 Villains Marvel's Avengers Needs To Add!
2. Kang The Conqueror
In the post-credit scene of the game we see that Monica is still alive as she addresses the board of directors for A.I.M. As she tries to reassure her backers, she boasts that A.I.M still has a great future ahead of itself, stating that anything, including time travel, is possible for them.
Time travel seems to also be somewhat connected to Hawkeye's introduction to the game, seeing as he was investigating a tachyon project in the trailer for the character's introduction.
If time travel is being explored, there's a high chance we'll be seeing Kang the Conqueror, Marvel's resident time travelling villain. Kang truly is an Avenger's level threat who would require the whole team to defeat, so he seems an obvious choice to introduce. Kang could easily end up being a recurring villain to face off against if he chooses to target our Avengers.
While implementing time travel into his boss battle would be incredibly difficult, Kang also has the benefit of being able to utilise 40th century technology against the team, weapons that they wouldn't even think could exist. His signature ray gun is able to temporarily disable superheroes' abilities and that alone would make him a dangerous enemy to face off against.
