10 Wars We Want To See In Future Call Of Duty Games

2. Muslim Rebellion

muslim-rebellionDate: 1856-1873 Location: China Belligerents: Qing Empire Vs Pingnan Guo This is a risky one, but the Muslim rebellion in China is considered to be one of the bloodiest wars of all time and one of the lesser known battles. Also known as the Panthay Rebellion, this extremely violent war lasted just under 20 years (with around 10 million casualties) where Pingan Guo Muslims attempted to take on the powerful Qing Empire. An interesting perspective of this war was that of General Ma Rulong, a Chinese Muslim who surrendered to the Qing Empire and turned on his own people. Rulong went on to become a powerful Qing official and was the result of many Muslim rebel deaths throughout his reign. With its great story potential, bloody battles, uncharacteristically sympathetic portrayals of Muslims ... why not have a Call Of Duty: Panthay Rebellion?
