10 Ways Naughty Dog Could Make Crash Bandicoot Work In 2016
6. Bring Back The Visual Style Of The Original Games
Crash Bandicoot is an instantly recognisable character, with his bright blue shorts, sneakers, skinny waist, hulking shoulders and big nose. The character received a makeover when Radical Entertainment took over the development of the series his design should return to his most iconic look, his early days with Naughty Dog. Crash's world needs to be bright and full of colour. It needs to be stylised and embrace Crash's cartoony heritage. Naughty Dog would be wise to look to what Nintendo has achieved on the Wii U for inspiration; Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 on Wii U are both visually stunning, though they never strive for realism. Instead they embrace a distinctive, cartoony art style that serves them very well. Crash would be wise to do the same.
