Uptake on the Virtual Reality aspect of gaming has been low to say the least, and Microsoft's decision to not focus on this could give them an edge on Sony.
Microsoft has directly said that it will concentrate on giving gamers the best games and experience they can enjoy on their TV screens.
Sony meanwhile look to be carrying on in their attempts to make VR a massive part of people's lives playing computer games.
While ambitious from Sony and something that might one day take off, it means allocating a lot of their resources, time and money to something which users might not actually be interested in.
Xbox is seemingly going back to basics and concentrating on giving players the best possible experience they can get by simply picking up a controller and parking yourself in front of a TV screen.
