10 Ways The Nintendo Switch Is Better Than PS4 & Xbox One
4. Faster Download Speeds
I'd say this is down to the Nintendo eShop having but a fraction of the games available when compared to the competition, but as any PS4 and Xbox One owners will remember from 2013 and 2014, even back then, those systems' download speeds were never their strong suit.
In light of that, it's worth championing just how fast you can purchase something and have it pop up on your library - usually whilst you continue browsing for something else. Yes, the Switch's dashboard is stripped back by comparison to the PS4 and Xbox One, but that allows it to function far faster, not getting held up transitioning between many intricate menus - many of which have baked-in ads on Xbox One.
All PS4 and Xbox One owners know the pain of attempting to download something on day one, only to be forced into waiting until the sun has set to play, and it's an issue simply not present on Switch.
