10 Ways The Nintendo Switch Is Better Than PS4 & Xbox One

3. Easily View How Long You've Played A Game

A tiny detail, but an important one - especially when it comes to bragging about how many hours you've put into Zelda.

Where some titles hide their 'time played' stats inside the games themselves (The Witcher 3's is buried in the settings), both the PS4 and Xbox One can tell you how long you've played each game in your collection, but it's bizarrely gated behind companion apps and/or visiting each company's respective website.

On Switch, tap up on the dashboard to highlight your profile icon, jump in and you'll see a breakdown of which games you've played, and for how long.

Now, weirdly the system only starts archiving this stuff after 10 days post-first play, but it's a far easier way to get this information than digging around online or in official mobile apps.
