10 Ways To Make 2017 A Great Year For Video Games
2. A Solid Line-Up For The Switch
If you take a look back at the Wii U when it first came out, you noticed that there was nothing remarkable with their game line-up. There was Super Mario U, and some ports of the most popular games on other consoles ported over to Nintendo's tablet controlled system.
It was safe to say that the Wii U just didn't hold up, or get the right games out to sustain a profitable life cycle.
Now that the Switch is on the horizon, it is time to look at what Nintendo has and make a sustainable release plan that can appeal to all gamers who would want to buy the console. For the hardcore Nintendo fans, The Legend of Zelda is a perfect way to grab them and keep them, while a sequel to Splatoon or a Super Smash Bros. port can get the multiplayer fan.
Maybe even bring over more successful ports of other games now that there is no motion control or second screen functionality. The Switch looks like it will be a clean slate for Nintendo, and a good lineup to start it's life cycle should be priority number one.
