10 Ways To Save The Nintendo Switch

8. Reduce The Price Of Everything

Speaking of paying over the odds, the Switch's pricing structure across the board is completely asinine. Not only is the system $300 - a price that puts it far above both the PS4 and Xbox One S - but additional controller pairs are $80.

The games too, are all retailing for between $50 and $60, meaning something like Skyrim is available elsewhere for literally a 10th of its Switch price.

Say you wanted to play ARMS with a friend, that's $300 for the console, another $60 for the game, $80 for the controllers... it's almost half a grand to have the 'seamless multiplayer experience' the Switch needs to represent in full.

Forget peoples' average spending amounts, average wages and even the idea of luxury items. Amongst its most direct competition, the Switch is way too expensive for what it is, period.
