10 Ways Video Game Worlds Are Nothing Like Reality

3. "He's Dead, Jim, Use A Phoenix Down."

The one thing I didn't understand about the ending of Crisis Core is why Cloud didn't use phoenix down on Zach. Instead, he decided to wail away in the rain when at any other time he'd pull out a feather and resurrect the person. In fact, when most major characters are killed off in a Square Enix game the other characters stand around dumb-founded when for a minor character or ally they'd have a tuft of phoenix down out in a flash. I guess the game developers throw this in so that the games feel a tad realistic, see we don't have things like in normal life. It would be a tad silly to be able to resurrect every character that dies in a game, we'd never feel any sadness and we'd never be able to relate to them.
