No landmark on Earth is perhaps more iconic than the Pyramids of Egypt. With that said, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the landmark of landmarks, and even today - 4500 years after their initial construction - there's still so much we don't know about it.

Thankfully, the people over at Ubisoft have given players a few answers (with some creative licence) in Assassin's Creed: Origins, providing their take on the Great Pyramid. Not only can you climb to the top to enjoy the view or go for a slide back down to the bottom, but there is a detailed interior based on real archaeological digs and exploration of the site.

Also, given the time period the game is set, the tomb is in far better condition than that of today.

Such massive attention to detail is taken that developers inadvertently predicted the future, in that they included their own fictional openings and rooms to give players more to explore.

A few years after the game's release, recent expeditions into the Pyramid revealed new rooms and massive openings very close to the layout of the game's own design.
