EA Sports missed an open goal with the PC edition of FIFA 15.
Any game bearing the branding of football’s governing body is a sure-fire success, but this home computer edition almost wasn’t due to a buggy launch.
Upon release, gremlins in the machine threw a spanner in the works of player AI and the result was your team members trotting aimlessly towards the centre circle, regardless of whether you were staging an attack or on back foot.
Other glitches included imbalanced shooting mechanics and poor lighting, but EA had the chance to bang one in on the rebound when they issued a patch for the game.
Fortunately, this rectified the issues and brought the PC edition of FIFA 15 in line with its home console teammates.
