For those wondering what a half-baked Bomberman clone would play like, look no further than Basement Craw. This indie game debuted on the PS4 in 2014 to scathing reviews, and is a testament to the fact that even reasonably priced indie games can be terrible. Basement Crawl is just as torturous as its macabre art style would have you believe. After a bizarre set up that implies that there will be a story connecting everything together, the game presents you with only two modes: local and online. There is no single player, no alternative modes, and no tutorial. Gameplay is repetitive, confusing, lacks depth, and is full of design flaws, while the online mode is crippled with technical issues that makes it hard to find people to play with...that is if anyone were still playing. Basement Crawl is unpolished from top to bottom, and with barely anything of substance to offer, it is virtually worthless. Developer Blooper Team has since announced their intention to remake the game and offer it for free to those who purchased the original. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes, because as of now they are responsible for what is easily one of the worst games on the PS4. What do you think are the worst games for the PS4?
