10 Worst Video Games Of The Last Decade
2. Fallout 76
If Fallout 76 did one thing right, it united divided fans against a common enemy. With the release of Fallout 4 back in 2015, Bethesda split its audience in two. Whilst one half enjoyed the game's expansive story and graphical upgrade from its predecessor, another half slammed the game for being far too limited and not a shade on what came before it in terms of gameplay and storytelling.
When Fallout 76 came to town, almost everyone reacted the same way: nuke it. Fallout 76 was far too ambitious for its own good, taking the world of Fallout 4 and turning into an expansive online multiplayer, where players could both team up and turn on one another.
However, with the inclusion of multiplayer was the exclusion of an exciting story that had been a staple of Fallout titles for years.
Instead, players were given a series of fetch quests, for the meagre ward of experience points. That was if they could play at all. Fallout 76's launch was marred with hours worth of bugs that, to this day, still haven't been properly fixed.
Bethesda then took a poor game and made it poorer with the heavy emphasis on the Creation Club, charging fans extortionate amounts for pointless items and charging this game all the way to the second worst game of the decade.
