10 WWE Superstars Who Never Made It Into A WWE Video Game

1. Rick Martel

Obviously, the rosters of old-school WWE games were much more limited than those in the modern era. So it's understandable that even someone as prominent as Rick Martel was left out of the original WrestleMania titles.

But what about WWE All Stars? Was there no room for 'The Model' alongside the likes of Jake Roberts and Sgt. Slaughter? Or, even more egregiously, how was Martel not put on the Legends of WrestleMania roster? The guy participated in seven WrestleManias, yet the developers decided Brutus Beefcake and Koko B. Ware were more important additions to the lineup.

Why? Is it because they'd already included Rick Rude and didn't want to confuse easily confused gamers who can't retain more than one Rick in their teensy brains at a time? I suppose it was bad enough they had another guy named Ric in the lineup: just imagine the chaos if they'd muddied the Ric(k) waters even further!

The Smackdown Vs. Raw series also featured a separate legends category in the majority of their games, but somehow, some way, Martel just kept falling through the cracks.

Which other past (or present) superstars have WWE game developers missed the boat on by not including in their games? In an ideal world, what would be your perfect roster? Tell us in the comments below!
