23. The Two Redfields
One of the many things Code: Veronica is celebrated for is being the only story in the series where players take control of both Claire and Chris Redfield. Considering they go up against a pair of twisted Umbrella siblings, it makes a lot of sense.
However, whilst it doesn't happen very often, it's not the last or indeed first time they are both featured in a game together. The DualShock rerelease of Resident Evil 2, and most subsequent ports, features a side-game called Extreme Battle. A unique Chris Redfield model is actually unlockable for this mode - meaning that Claire and Chris are both technically in RE2.
The only other games that both Redfields have appeared in together are, unsurprisingly, The Darkside Chronicles (which features a retelling of Code: Veronica) and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (which features classic characters across the series battling monsters together in an arcade shooter).
