11 Awesome Actors Who Gave Awful Video Game Performances
5. Kiefer Sutherland - Call Of Duty: World At War
2008's World at War was the first entry into the Call of Duty series to feature undeniable A-list acting talent, with both Gary Oldman and Kiefer Sutherland lending their vocal talents to the game.
With Sutherland not only voicing Sergeant Roebuck but also narrating the American campaign's cut-scenes, he had to do most of the actorly heavy lifting, but sadly opted for a consistently flat monotone for his entire narrating job.
He fared a little better when voicing Roebuck, but ultimately still felt like he was just transplanting Jack Bauer, complete with dramatic breathy whisper and intense screaming, into this game pretty much verbatim.
At least Sutherland has shown signs of improvement over the years, with his solid if controversially minimalist work as Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid V.
