4. Michael Biehn - Aliens: Colonial Marines

There was a lot of hype surrounding the release of 2013's Aliens: Colonial Marines, especially as it featured numerous actors reprising their roles from the classic 1986 movie, most intriguingly Corporal Hicks himself, Michael Biehn.

Compounding the fact that the cut-scenes looked a generation out-of-date and Biehn's render only scarcely resembled him, Biehn himself gave a disappointingly unfussed performance, sounding like a man who spent the night before boozing himself into unconsciousness and basically wishing he was anywhere else while recording the lines the next morning.

Biehn himself even later admitted that he found the project "kind of passionless", and claimed that poor voice direction affected his final performance, so this was clearly a "take the money and run" role on his part.

At least he redeemed himself with a fantastic, Terminator-inspired performance in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon a few months later.
