In a game as cinematic and fast-paced as Advanced Warfare, having solid animations is even more important than flashy post-processing and high polygon counts. The game delivers here on all fronts, with realistic facial animations and fluid transitions between the impressive Exo Suit moves. Sledgehammer made us of the same facial animating system and set as in James Cameron's Avatar 2, which adds greatly to the cinematic feel of the single-player campaign. Characters are no longer by-the-numbers grunts, and the great voice work is perfectly complimented by the incredibly realistic facial animations of the heroes and villains that inhabit Advanced Warfare's world.
