There was no problem a gamer couldnt fix, because every one had the secret weapon, the coup de grace - the blow. Whenever a cartridge stopped working or you thought your laser wasnt picking up you would do the only thing that came naturally to all retro players; blow on it. Weather it moved the dust, shook the connections, cooled it down, nobody knew why but somehow it always seemed to work. It was some kind of witchcraft, or the gaming deity allowing everyone to continue on our journey. The strangest part is that scientific studies have actually been done to find out why this happened, and they all concluded was that it does nothing, some even saying it makes it worse. But gamers wont listen as they have the gift, a gift that science cannot explain (probably).
