11 Things We Learned At The PlayStation Experience 2017

7. Dreams Still Has No Release Date, Beta Coming In 2018

With Dreams being "re-introduced" at The Game Awards with a snazzy new trailer but no release date, it seemed likely that the big announcement was being saved for PSX, especially as Media Molecule announced well ahead of time that they'd be bringing Dreams to the conference.

Bizarrely, though the game's co-director Siobhan Reddy took to the stage to discuss Dreams' creative potential, she didn't put players out of their misery by announcing a release date beyond confirming that it's planned to come out sometime next year.

She did reveal, however, that a beta will take place sometime ahead of release. The lack of information about this seems to imply that the game's final release is still quite a ways away. Don't expect it before E3, basically.
