11 Video Games That Have Already Been Delayed In 2021

You'd be forgiven for forgetting that Overwatch 2 actually existed. Until a new gameplay trailer dropped last week, there wasn't much hype for the sequel to Blizzard's epic hero shooter.

Despite the success of the original, the studio behind the project has struggled to really come out swinging with a marketing campaign that's properly conveyed why a sequel was needed in the first place, and why fans should be dropping down pre-orders.

Fortunately for them, they're going to have a whole year to hit the ground running on this front, as the sequel has slipped from its original 2021 release date to a vague 2022 placeholder.

After Blizzard's troubles over the past few years, a lot is riding on Overwatch 2 being a hit, and delaying the title in order to make sure it launches with a bang is probably the best move.
