I've been banging this drum ever since I started watching HBO's marvellous show Six Feet Under over a decade ago. Peter Krause is probably the least notable actor on this list, but he is such a brilliant likeness of Max Payne that I just couldn't resist including him. Yes, we've already had a Max Payne movie featuring a relatively well-cast Mark Wahlberg, and while Krause doesn't really have any experience at all in the action arena, he could no doubt knock the dramatic stuff out of the park, so I can take a gamble on the rest. Of course, Krause looks a lot more like the original "constipated" Max Payne design from the first game and less like the Mel Gibson-inspired countenance of the second game, but I could totally see him kitted out in a trenchcoat, totting a massive gun and reciting some of those classy film noir-inspired lines.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
